MoU Signed with Agri Students’ Alliance- A Milestone to Rejuvenate Agricultural Scenario in Post-Flood Feni
We are excited to announce that Give Bangladesh Foundation has signed an MoU with the Agri Students’ Alliance from the Bangladesh Agricultural University!
As part of this collaboration, the Agri Students’ Alliance will be providing seedlings to 100 farmers from the Porshuram area of Feni. These farmers were carefully selected based on their vulnerability, following a detailed survey, data collection, and analysis conducted by our dedicated project for agricultural interventions- Project Folon.
This initiative aims to support farmers who need it the most, empowering them to rebuild and thrive. Together, we’re planting the seeds of hope and sustainability!

Empowering University Students with Access to Volunteering Opportunities in EWU
Hello, Knock Knock! Volunteer recruitment season is underway!
On September 23, Give Bangladesh Foundation held a volunteer recruitment session at East West University.
GBF’s president Mohammad Saifullah Mithu addressed the audience consisting of 60+ EWU students with a theme of ‘Today’s Volunteers, Tomorrow’s Leaders’.
We had the opportunity to introduce Give Bangladesh through our projects and campaigns. Following the presentation, we had an interactive Q&A session, where students actively engaged with our team to learn more about how they could get involved.
We are incredibly grateful to the students of EWU for their enthusiasm, and also to the EWU Information Club for organizing and facilitating the event.
We look forward to building a brighter future for Bangladesh together.

Pledge to Sustainability: Project Oxygen 4.0
Give Bangladesh’s Project Oxygen 4.0 plans to reforest Dumuria, Khulna with a mini-Sundarban of 200,000 trees. This is an investment for Bangladesh’s future, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and a significant step toward realising SDG 13: Climate Action.
Mangroves are Bangladesh’s front-liners against climate change. As natural buffers, they can reduce the devastating effects of storm surges and landslides. Such strengthened coastal protection is vital for cyclone-prone Khulna, where these disasters have led to widespread destruction and loss of life. Project Oxygen is estimated to establish 14.63 hectares of new mangrove forest —about the size of 20 football fields — along the Khulna coast, enhancing Dumuria’s adaptive capacity to climate-related disasters, and supporting SDG 13.1.
A key element of Project Oxygen 4.0 is the ‘Climate Graduation Program’ which creates climate-conscious communities. We are empowering local youth to become champions of climate action to foster a long-term commitment to environmental stewardship. We are also actively engaging local faith leaders and recruiting full-time personnel to ensure sustainability. These efforts align with SDG 13.3 (Build Knowledge and Capacity to Meet Climate Change).
In addition to stabilising coastlines and mitigating disaster, mangroves act as natural carbon sinks. Project Oxygen 4.0 is projected to sequester approximately 43.89 tons of carbon dioxide upon maturity. This can reduce the carbon emissions that drive climate change.
Together, we can build a sustainable future for generations to come with Project Oxygen 4.0.

Climate Graduation Program- Unveiling New Horizons of Climate Education & Awareness for Coastal Youth
