Across Bangladesh, thousands remain trapped in cycles of poverty with limited access to decent livelihoods. Floating sex workers struggle for economic security and social acceptance, often excluded from formal employment. In the coastal belt, "tiger widows" - women who lost their husbands to tiger attacks in the Sundarbans — face deep stigma and chronic poverty.

Impoverished farmers across rural regions contend with scarce resources and shrinking climate-affected land. Without inclusive economic opportunities, these groups remain vulnerable, unable to break free from marginalization. The problem - An estimated 140,000 women rely on sex work for survival, most a floating population facing violence, stigma, and no path to formal employment.
